Self-exclusion locks your jm8 account for a period of 6 months to 5 years. Once activated, jm8 will stop all marketing communications to you, refuse any new account registration attempts using your details, and block access for the full exclusion duration. This cannot be reversed early.

If you wish to increase an existing limit, a mandatory 24-hour waiting period applies before the higher limit is active. Decreases apply immediately, with no delay. jm8 recommends setting a deposit limit as part of your account setup — not just when things go wrong.
Loss limits cap the total amount you can lose within a defined period, regardless of how many individual bets or games are involved. Once your loss limit is reached, jm8 will prevent further wagering until the period resets. This is one of the most effective tools for keeping gambling within a budget that genuinely works for your financial situation.
Under "Session Controls", you can set a reminder interval and a maximum session length. When the reminder fires, a notification appears on screen — it won't interrupt your game, but it gives you a moment to decide whether to continue. When the maximum length is reached, jm8 will prompt you to confirm if you want to extend, giving you an active decision point rather than passive drift.
Select "Cooling-Off" in Responsible Gaming settings and choose a duration between 24 hours and 6 weeks. Your account is locked for that period — no login, no deposits, no bets. Your balance is retained and will be available again when the period ends. jm8 will not contact you with promotional material during a cooling-off period.
Self-exclusion is for players who recognise that they need a longer break from gambling. Select "Self-Exclusion" in your Responsible Gaming settings, choose a period between 6 months and 5 years, and confirm. The exclusion is permanent for its chosen duration — there is no early reinstatement process. jm8 will block all login attempts, reject any new account registrations linked to your identity, and remove you from all marketing lists immediately upon activation.
